Both teams have scored in only two of Manchester City's first 11 Premier League matches this season, including a 2-0 defeat to Crystal Palace in their last home game.

Everton lost 5-0 at City on the final day of last season, having been beaten 2-0 at home by Pep Guardiola's men in the FA Cup in March, and there were only two shots on target in the Toffees' 0-0 draw with Tottenham last time out.
