Manchester City cut to 9-4 for Premier League title after emphatic victory over Liverpool
Premier League latest news and betting reaction as Manchester City turn up the heat on leaders Arsenal

Premier League snapshots
Manchester City cashed in on Arsenal's slip-up at Sunderland with a resounding 3-0 Premier League victory over Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
City cut the Gunners' lead to four points and, as usual, Erling Haaland was at the centre of the drama. Giorgi Mamardashvili saved the striker's early penalty but Haaland opened the scoring with a looping header in the 29th minute.
Virgil van Dijk had an effort ruled out for offside at the other end before Nico Gonzalez doubled City's lead in first-half injury-time and Jeremy Doku scored a brilliant third goal in the 63rd minute.
Three of Sunday's four 2pm kick-offs produced impressive home victories. Emi Buendia's free-kick set Aston Villa on their way to a 4-0 win over Bournemouth, Brentford came from behind to beat ten-man Newcastle 3-1 and Nottingham Forest also fought back from 1-0 down to defeat Leeds 3-1.
It was a first league win for Forest boss Sean Dyche and a fifth loss in six away games for Leeds on their return to the top flight.
Talking point

Brentford manager Keith Andrews started his new job as 6-1 second-favourite in the Premier League sack-race betting and his prospects looked even bleaker after the first 45 minutes of the campaign.
The Bees trailed Nottingham Forest 3-0 at half-time in their opening game but they have responded with a superb run of results at home.
They have thrived as underdogs, taking 13 points from six home fixtures against Aston Villa, Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Newcastle.
Next up at the Gtech Community Stadium are Burnley and Leeds, so it will be interesting to see how Andrews sets up for matches that Brentford are expected to dominate.

Punting pointers
Cole Palmer could return from injury after the international break when Chelsea face Barcelona in the Champions League and Arsenal in the Premier League.
The Blues' wide players have stepped up to cover for Palmer's absence, improving their end product and delivering for punters in the player-prop markets.
Alejandro Garnacho scored against Sunderland and Qarabag and was excellent against Wolves on Saturday, setting up two of Chelsea's three goals.
Substitute Estevao created the other one, shortly after coming off the bench, and the brilliant young Brazilian has scored four times in his last 331 minutes – including a dramatic late winner against Liverpool.
Pedro Neto has two goals and two assists in his last four league appearances, while Jamie Gittens contributed a goal and two assists in the 4-3 EFL Cup win over Wolves.
Local rivals Fulham have less to cheer about and Saturday's limp 2-0 defeat at Everton was their fifth loss in six league games.
Wins for West Ham and Nottingham Forest mean the Cottagers are just two points above the relegation zone and things could easily have been worse for Marco Silva's men.
Two of their three league wins came at home to Leeds, thanks to a 94th-minute own goal, and bottom club Wolves, who were reduced to ten men in the first half.
Only Wolves are adrift in the survival scrap and the 21-20 about under-pressure Fulham beating Sunderland in their next home fixture is easy to swerve.
