Team news
Manchester City
Ferran Torres suffered a foot injury playing for Spain and is out. Ederson and Gabriel Jesus are unlikely to feature after a late return from international duty.
Burnley
Ben Mee has Covid-19 and Matej Vydra faces a late test on an ankle injury. Maxwel Cornet could feature after recovering from a hamstring injury.
Match preview
Burnley manager Sean Dyche will be under no illusions about the scale of the task facing his team at the Etihad after a dismal recent record on Manchester City's patch.
Heavy defeats for the Clarets against the champions have almost become a given and the fact Pep Guardiola's side have already put five past Norwich and Arsenal does not bode well, especially as Burnley are still searching for their first league win of the campaign.
The potential absence of attacking duo Ferran Torres and Gabriel Jesus should be little more than a minor inconvenience and City should still be able to threaten to score plenty of goals.
Burnley do possess a physical threat up front and have scored in seven of their last eight away games, so there is also a chance that they can score a goal that would kick City's star-studded line-up into action.

Burnley have lost 5-0 on each of their last four visits to Manchester City
