Liverpool to win

Having suffered five straight defeats in all competitions, Manchester City's shocking run continued on Tuesday as they blew a 3-0 lead to draw 3-3 with Feyenoord in the Champions League.

The faltering Premier League champions should be opposed on their trip to Liverpool, who extended their stunning start to the Arne Slot era with a 2-0 win over Real Madrid on Wednesday.

The Reds thrashed Bayer Leverkusen 4-0 in their previous home game in Europe, also beating Chelsea, Brighton and Aston Villa in their last three league matches at Anfield, and they can strengthen their grip on the title race with a win against City.

Darwin Nunez to have over 1.5 shots

Manchester City's defensive standards have dropped alarmingly in recent weeks, as demonstrated by their 4-0 home defeat to Tottenham last weekend.

Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez will be hoping for a crack at the City rearguard and he is worth backing to have at least two efforts at goal.

The Uruguayan has scored in two of his last three Premier League starts at Anfield against Bournemouth and Aston Villa, and he had six shots in 65 minutes in the 2-0 win over Villa. 

Josko Gvardiol to be booked

City left-back Josko Gvardiol had an uncomfortable game against Tottenham last weekend and things are unlikely to get any easier for the Croatia international at Anfield.

Gvardiol has a decent disciplinary record but he looks a likely candidate to be booked considering his patchy recent form and the huge threat posed by Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold down Liverpool's right flank.
