Leaders Liverpool have dropped just six points this season and can ensure they finish the year top of the pile by beating Newcastle.

Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City are the only teams to have held Jurgen Klopp’s ruthless Reds, who have been dominant against the league’s lesser lights.

They have kept clean sheets in six of their eight league games at Anfield and can shut out the Magpies, who failed to register a single shot on target in Saturday’s goalless draw with Fulham.

Second-bottom Huddersfield are the only side to have netted fewer goals than Newcastle this term.
