Leicester v Everton: Where to watch, odds, form, team news, stats & verdict
Sundays big match at the King Power Stadium
Premier League: Leicester v Everton
Where to watch
Sky Sports Premier League & Main Event, 4.30pm Sunday
Match odds
4-6 Leicester, 17-4 Everton, 3-1 draw
Form
Both of these sides had ambitions of cracking the big six this season but only one has managed to live up to the hype as second-placed Leicester sit 15 points ahead of Everton in 16th spot.
Leicester's only two defeats of the campaign have come against Manchester United and Liverpool - both on the road - and Brendan Rodgers' side are on a five-match winning streak.
The difference between the Foxes and Everton is stark, leaving Marco Silva's future in the dark. Last week's woeful 2-0 loss to Norwich means the Merseysiders have suffered defeats in all three matches against promoted clubs this season without scoring.
Seven losses in 11 means the clock is ticking for Silva, who could hardly be facing a more daunting set of fixtures to try to save his skin.
After the trip to the King Power, Everton face Liverpool (away), Chelsea (home), Manchester United (away) and Arsenal (home) before Christmas.
Team news
Matty James remains a long-term injury casualty but Jonny Evans should overcome cramp to start once again for Leicester.
Jean Philippe Gbamin, Andre Gomes and Cuco Martina remain out, while the Toffees need to assess Bernardo and Fabian Delph.
The tactical battle
Rodgers has a settled side in a 4-1-4-1 formation. He has not made more than one change in the starting 11 since beating Tottenham on September 21 and the same team has started five in a row.
A key feature of Leicester's play is the way they are able to wear teams down with their passing game - only Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool average more possession - before Youri Tielemans and James Maddison pick holes in fatigued opponents.
Leicester have scored 21 second-half goals this term and Everton's mess of a squad could struggle as the match goes on.
Silva seems unable to find a settled team with four different players (Richarlison, Cenk Tosun, Moise Kean and Dominic Calvert-Lewin) used as the lone striker, while summer signing Alex Iwobi started on the left, then shifted to the number ten position and now finds himself on the bench.
Verdict
Leicester absolutely deserve to be considered odds-on favourites and they could land a fifth straight Premier League victory without conceding with a fourth consecutive 2-0 success.
Those aiming to bump up the price could consider taking second-half experts City to draw at half-time before triumphing.
Leicester 2-0
