Jay Rodriguez’s slow start to life at the Hawthorns contributed to the stuttering first half of the season from West Brom but the team as a whole have raised their game since he has found some form.

Relegation looks inevitable for the Baggies but Rodriguez will be primed to unleash havoc on a Newcastle side he has scored against three times in four appearances. His minutes-per-goal figure stands at 371 this season but it is just 115 in his games against the Magpies.

The former Southampton striker has just seven league goals this term, but three of those have come in his last five games as he and the Baggies start to hit form under caretaker Darren Moore.

Heung Min-Son is one to keep an eye on in Tottenham’s visit to Watford on Monday. The South Korean revelation has an especially strong record of four goals in three appearances and a superb MPG of just 74 against the Hornets.

Watford are winless in six and are locked in mid-table obscurity so will likely be pressed into submission by Tottenham who have won 62 per cent of their matches when Son has featured and just 50 per cent when he has not.

The former Leverkusen forward has developed significantly this season and is just two short of his record goal tally for a campaign of 14 with four Premier League games to go.
