Fantasy Premier League tips: The best wildcard team for FPL Gameweek Ten

We’re already a quarter of the way through the Premier League season, which means if you haven’t yet used your first Wildcard chip, time is ticking - you have ten gameweeks left to do so.
Now is a great time to maximise its benefits. With ten weeks of form and data to analyse, or if you’re falling behind and need a reset, this could be the perfect moment to rebuild.
Here’s a suggested Wildcard team to set you up for success.
Goalkeepers
David Raya (Arsenal) £5.7m, 26.6% ownership
Arsenal have been the standout defensive side in the league, keeping six clean sheets from nine matches and conceding just three goals. Raya is the obvious number one choice.
Martin Dubravka (Newcastle) £4.0, 34.4% ownership
Pairing Raya with a £4m option such as Dubravka makes sense. He’s a low-cost bench placeholder given there’s no situation where you’d envisage dropping Raya.
Defenders
Gabriel (Arsenal) £6.4, 36.3% ownership
For the same reasons as Raya, but with added goal threat from set pieces. He’s the game’s leading defensive points scorer thanks to a mixture of clean sheets, defensive contributions, and bonus points.

Chris Richards (Crystal Palace) £4.5, 3.3% ownership
Palace have kept clean sheets in a third of their matches, and Richards offers steady defensive contribution points at a good price.
Joe Rodon (Leeds) £4.1, 6.2% ownership
Excellent value for his price tag. He’s scored twice already this season and regularly picks up defensive contribution points - three full hauls and two more where he narrowly missed out.
Josh Acheampong (Chelsea) £3.9, 2.0% ownership
A cheap option who’s recently earned starts for Chelsea. With a strong run of fixtures ahead, he’s ideal for rotation.
Dan Burn (Newcastle) £5.1, 10.8% ownership
A reliable, consistent option with clean-sheet potential and regular defensive contributions, making him a pick.
Midfielders
Bukayo Saka (Arsenal) £10.1, 16.7% ownership
Mohamed Salah and Bruno Fernandes are underperforming while Cole Palmer is sidelined, so Saka is the premium midfielder to own. Arsenal are top of the league, and as their star player, Saka’s points will no doubt rise with Arsenal's favourable set of fixtures.

Iliman Ndiaye (Everton) £6.5, 11.2% ownership
Everton’s main attacking outlet and penalty taker. He’s managed three goals and an assist, plus defensive contributions in two more fixtures.
Enzo Fernandez (Chelsea) £6.7, 14.9% ownership
On penalties while Palmer is injured and second in Chelsea’s points tally behind Moises Caicedo. With three goals and two assists, he’s central to Chelsea’s attacking play.
Antoine Semenyo (Bournemouth) £8.1, 64.4% ownership
The second-highest scorer in the league behind Haaland. Bournemouth have been in fine form, scoring 16 goals, and sit second in the table.
Bryan Mbeumo (Manchester United) £8.3, 21.1% ownership
Finally finding rhythm at United, who have now won three in a row. Mbeumo has scored three times in those games, including against Liverpool, and looks full of confidence.
Forwards
Erling Haaland (Manchester City) £14.7, 68.5% ownership
His streak ended against Villa but he remains the game’s most dangerous player - 11 goals in nine games and top of the overall points chart.

Danny Welbeck (Brighton) £6.5, 5.2% ownership
The 34-year-old has been revitalised, scoring five goals in his last four games. Brighton’s excellent fixture run through to January adds to his appeal.
Igor Thiago (Brentford) £6.2, 6.5% ownership
Has more than filled the boots of Yoane Wissa and Mbeumo since their departures, scoring six so far this season. Like Brighton, Brentford have a strong fixture run in to the new year.
All player prices and ownership percentages are subject to change.
