Match preview
Graham Potter's Chelsea tenure got off to a slightly disappointing start with a 1-1 draw against RB Salzburg and another stalemate looks likely when the Blues travel to Selhurst Park.
Potter's arrival at Stamford Bridge was met with a largely positive reaction but it could take time for the former Brighton boss to mould a team in his image.
The 47-year-old has had limited opportunities to work with the bulk of his squad, who have spent much of the past fortnight on international duty.
He will be keen to bed down a preferred style of play and a settled starting eleven soon, and while that process continues there could be some bumps in the road.
Palace have shown positive signs in difficult fixtures, holding Liverpool (1-1) and Newcastle (0-0) to draws and taking a two-nil lead in a 4-2 loss at Manchester City.
The Eagles are tough to beat and their solid start may continue with another point this weekend.
