Chelsea vs Manchester United predictions
Chelsea were 2-7 to beat Ipswich at Stamford Bridge last month and the Blues are only marginally bigger for a Premier League home victory over Manchester United on Friday.
The Red Devils are only two places above the relegated Tractor Boys in the table, albeit having picked up 17 more points, and their focus is almost entirely on Wednesday's Europa League final.
The clash with Tottenham in Bilbao is a welcome distraction from the fact that United are set for their lowest league finish since they were relegated in 1974.
Ruben Amorim is likely to make sweeping changes to his starting line-up at Chelsea, who are desperate for points in the top-five race after last weekend's damaging defeat at Newcastle.
United's league results with their first team have been dismal this season so, even at inflated odds, they make little appeal against their motivated hosts.
But Enzo Maresca's Blues are also hard to trust. They let down their backers in April's game against Ipswich, who let slip a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 at Stamford Bridge, and are short of attacking options after Nicolas Jackson's red card against Newcastle.
The striker is suspended for Chelsea's last two league fixtures although he will be available for the Conference League final against Real Betis on May 28.
Jackson's rash elbow on Sven Botman in the 2-0 defeat at St James' Park was particularly costly as fellow strikers Christopher Nkunku and Marc Guiu are injured while Manchester United loanee Jadon Sancho is ineligible.
Cole Palmer, Pedro Neto and Noni Madueke should provide Maresca with the attacking tools to break down a United side who lost 4-3 at Brentford in their last away game.
And, with Romeo Lavia available to partner Moises Caicedo, Argentina's World Cup winner Enzo Fernandez could start in an advanced position behind makeshift striker Neto.
Fernandez mustered only five attempts at goal in his first ten league appearances this season but he has been given far more licence to get forward since then.
Only Palmer, Jackson, Neto and Madueke average more shots per game for Chelsea than Fernandez's 1.5 this season and he has scored six times in his last 24 games.
He found the net in Argentina's World Cup qualifying win over Brazil in March and scored a third-minute opener in this month's 3-1 home win over Liverpool.
Fernandez's near namesake Bruno Fernandes, who has scored or assisted 17 of United's 42 league goals this season, is likely to be rested but the Chelsea man is an appealing each-way bet to score first.
