Chelsea can pile pressure on Saints boss Pellegrino

Southampton manager Mauricio Pellegrino has been well backed in the next-manager-to-go market and the pressure on his shoulders could grow with a heavy defeat at Chelsea.

The top eight was the pre-season target for Saints but they might have to be factored into the relegation equation.

They are only four points clear of the drop zone and three of their next four games are against big-six clubs.

Chelsea brushed aside Huddersfield on Tuesday and should do something similar to Southampton.
