Cardiff could stun City with opening goal

Cardiff are determined to take on the Premier League's big guns and could ask a serious question of Manchester City by scoring the first goal of the game in the Welsh capital.

Over the 90 minutes City's extra quality should shine through but Pep Guardiola's side may be vulnerable in the early stages as they try to come to terms with Wednesday's shock 2-1 defeat at home to Lyon.

For Cardiff to have any chance they must start quickly, as they did at Chelsea last weekend when Sol Bamba gave them the lead.
