Erling Haaland anytime goalscorer

Erling Haaland is racing clear at the top of the Premier League goalscoring charts and the Norwegian superstar can add to his eight-goal haul this weekend.

City's goal machine arrived in England ahead of the 2022-23 season and ripped up the Premier League record books with 36 goals in his first season.

His goal tallies have dropped to 27 and 22 in the last two seasons, but there has been a noticeable improvement this term with the 25-year-old looking hungrier than ever.

There were question marks over how Haaland would fare without the regular supply line of Kevin De Bruyne, but City's star striker hasn't suffered any drop off without the Belgian.

Haaland bagged another two goals in City's 2-2 midweek draw with Monaco and he should stay on the scoring trail against Brentford, who have not kept a clean sheet in five games.

Phil Foden to register an assist

Thomas Tuchel raised a few eyebrows as he failed to find room for Jude Bellingham and a resurgent Phil Foden in his latest England squad.

Competition for attacking midfield places in the Three Lions' squad is intense and Jack Grealish is another player who can count himself unlucky to be overlooked.

But Foden is used to competing with high-quality players and has ticked the first box by getting back into Pep Guardiola's good books.

Foden had a solid September – contributing two goals and two assists – and can come up with a key creative moment this weekend.

Igor Thiago to have a shot on target

Brentford's encouraging start to the season has been heavily influenced by Igor Thiago, who has scored four goals in six Premier League appearances.

Thiago bagged a brace in last Saturday's 3-1 victory at home to Manchester United and can trouble City, who have not kept a clean sheet on any of their last three visits to this corner of west London.
