Team news

Bournemouth
Dominic Solanke and Lewis Cook are out, along with Junior Stanislas, Marcus Tavernier, David Brooks and Ryan Fredericks. New signing Dango Outtara could feature.

Nottingham Forest
Taiwo Awoniyi and Dean Henderson are sidelined but Ryan Yates is back. Jesse Lingard, Willy Boly, Omar Richards, Moussa Niakhate, Cheikhou Kouyate and Giulian Biancone are all out due to injury but Newcastle loanee Chris Wood is available.

Match preview

Promoted rivals Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest produced a thrilling encounter at the City Ground in September, when the Cherries roared back to win 3-2 after trailing 2-0 at half-time.

The reverse fixture may struggle to live up to that game in terms of entertainment as Bournemouth have returned to action after the World Cup with six straight defeats, five of them to nil.

The only match in which they have found the net was a disappointing 4-2 FA Cup defeat to Championship leaders Burnley, although they will be encouraged by the fact that Forest have failed to score in seven of their nine away league matches.

The Tricky Trees have won four of their last eight, three by a 1-0 margin plus a 2-0 victory over Leicester last time out, but a tight contest looks likely on the south coast, especially with Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke and Forest's joint-top scorer Taiwo Awoniyi sidelined.
