Arsenal v West Ham Bet Builder preview

Over 2.5 goals

Arsenal have conceded 14 goals in four Premier League matches against teams, like West Ham, above them in the table this season but they should trouble a depleted visiting defence.

The Hammers have beaten title contenders Liverpool and Chelsea 3-2 this season and their meetings with Arsenal last term produced a 2-1 defeat at the Emirates Stadium and a 3-3 draw in east London.

Both teams to score

West Ham's goalless stalemate at Burnley on Sunday was out of character given that both teams scored in 11 of their first 15 league games this term.

Their clashes with Liverpool, Chelsea and both Manchester clubs all featured goals at both ends and Arsenal lost 3-2 at Manchester United and 2-1 at Everton before Saturday's 3-0 home win over Southampton.

Arthur Masuaku to be shown a card

The Hammers' left-back was the unlikely hero of the recent victory over Chelsea, scoring a fluky late winner, but he could be kept busy defensively by Arsenal's fleet-footed attacking midfielders.

Masuaku has started 24 Premier League matches since the beginning of the 2019-20 campaign, picking up seven yellow cards and one red.
