The National League is often unpredictable with none of the last 13 ante-post favourites winning the division, but order can be restored by Tranmere, who look rock-solid market leaders.

The playoff picture has changed this season with six teams involved instead of four.

It should make things more interesting towards the end of the season with the second and third-placed teams earning home draws in the playoff semi-finals and the fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh-placed teams going into a playoff qualifying round.
