Maidstone and Braintree have already been consigned to relegation from the National League, but they can still put on a show when they clash.

The sides occupy the bottom two places in the division, with Braintree a point better off in 23rd, and woeful defending has been the leading cause of their demise.

The teams have conceded 154 goals between them this campaign, but they can’t be criticised too harshly for their efforts in front of goal.

Braintree have found the net 11 times in their last six and notched in each of them, while Maidstone have got on the scoresheet in three of their last four. Expect goals at both ends.

Dagenham & Redbridge returned to winning ways at Ebbsfleet after a recent slump, and they could follow that up when they host playoff hopefuls Eastleigh.

The visitors scraped a 1-0 victory over Gateshead last week but they had been in freefall prior to that, losing three in a row and conceding ten in the process.

They are still four points clear in seventh and holding the last playoff spot, but will need to show plenty of improvement if they are to confirm their place in the post season.

The Daggers have claimed the scalps of Leyton Orient, Fylde and Harrogate at Victoria Road this season, and could add another good side to their list.
