Middlesbrough v Leeds United match preview

Leeds appear to be gaining strength as winter draws to a close and they can chalk up a third successive victory for the first time since December by defeating struggling Middlesbrough at the Riverside.

Injury-hit Boro have not tasted victory since a 2-0 triumph at Preston on New Year's Day and have been dragged into a relegation scrap.

They remain weakened by the absence of key defenders Dael Fry and Dani Ayala and may struggle to contain Marcelo Bielsa's highflyers, who look destined for a return to the Premier League.

Key stat

Middlesbrough have not won any of their last ten matches.
