Maribor value to cause upset

West Ham get their Europa League campaign going this evening against Slovenian outfit Domzale and Slaven Bilic will be hoping his side can make amends for last year’s early exit.

The Hammers were knocked out at this stage last term by Romania’s Astra, but tonight’s opponents’ have never reached the third qualifying round before, and at 11-20 the East London side are sure to have their supporters.

Aberdeen are the sole remaining Scottish club in this year’s Europa League, but the Dons have fallen at this stage in the last two seasons and their cautious opponents Maribor look excellent value at 49-20 to cause an upset.
