Liverpool 13-5 for Premier League title after crushing Cardiff

Liverpool are top of the Premier League after a 4-1 victory over Cardiff at Anfield and the Reds are 13-5 to win the title.

Sadio Mane's brace, along with goals from Mohamed Salah and Xherdan Shaqiri, means Jurgen Klopp's side will be top of the table at least until Manchester City's trip to Tottenham on Monday night.

The Citizens remain 4-7 favourites to retain their crown with Chelsea, who travel to Burnley on Sunday, 14-1 and Arsenal, chasing a 12th straight victory when they take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, 33-1.

Fulham's deadline-day spending spree boosted hopes of an exciting season back in the Premier League but the Cottagers are just 6-5 for relegation after a chastening 3-0 home defeat to Bournemouth.

Billy Sharp's hat-trick fired Sheffield United to the top of the Sky Bet Championship table with a 4-2 home win over Wigan. Promotion contenders Middlesbrough and Derby drew 1-1.

Real Madrid travel to Barcelona for El Clasico in La Liga and Paddy Power make Real coach Julen Lopetegui just 1-2 to be sacked before the start of November.

Ladbrokes are betting on the identity of Lopetegui's successor with former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte 19-20 favourite. Arsene Wenger is 100-30, ex-Real midfielder Guti 11-1, and Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is 18-1.
