Lorient are up against it in the Ligue 1 relegation playoff battle after losing 2-1 at Troyes in Thursday's first leg.

The Bretons had 67 per cent possession but did little with it and after a run of no wins in five games their confidence is going to be low.

Troyes, who stormed into the playoffs courtesy of a late winning streak, are more than good enough to avoid defeat.
