Match preview

West Brom's failure to beat Fulham on Tuesday was another boost for Leeds in their quest to end a 16-year wait without Premier League football. The Whites can move to the brink of a cherished top-flight return with a comfortable victory over Yorkshire rivals Barnsley.

Victory would move them five points clear of Albion in the title race with only two games left.

Marcelo Bielsa's boys have not taken their eyes off the prize since the Sky Bet Championship restarted, recovering from a 2-0 defeat at Cardiff by taking maximum points in four of their next five games which includes a 3-0 rout of Fulham.

Leeds can sometimes come unstuck against the league's lesser lights but their constant pressure should eventually pay off against the relegation-threatened Tykes, who have failed to score in three of their last five games and are without influential winger Elliot Simoes.
