Two clubs with plenty of previous Premier League experience meet at Loftus Road this afternoon and QPR and Leeds will be hoping that enough work has been done in the summer to launch a sustained bid for promotion back to the top flight.

QPR have mainly focused on continuity with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink having had a first pre-season to get his ideas across and their friendlies have featured Rangers using the high-press approach adopted by so many modern coaches.
