Waterford can give Derry something to think about

From 7.45pm Friday

Shamrock Rovers are highly unlikely to catch Dundalk but they need no motivation as Bohemians head to Tallaght.

Bohs' three wins over Rovers this season formed the most recent chapter in an incredible run enjoyed by the Gypsies against the Hoops, who have generally been favourites and often odds-on in these matches.

There is an impressive hunger and purpose about Bohs in these games.

Rovers should win but at 8-13 they can be left alone.

Waterford can give Derry something to think about at the RSC and make a little appeal at 11-5 in the draw-no-bet market with the Blues coming off an excellent performance against Shamrock Rovers.

Galway United have had a poor campaign but they have hit form, with three straight wins, and they could easily go off odds-on against Limerick, who may barely be able to fill their bench at Terryland.

Limerick's discipline was almost as bad as their defending in the 6-2 FAI Cup loss to Sligo Rovers.

In their last six games against league opposition, Limerick have drawn at home to Athlone and lost five.

Galway are finding confidence and are a better side than Limerick at the moment.

Cobh Ramblers have been in decent form since Stuart Ashton took charge and, 13 points behind Cabinteely with the considerable advantage offered by playing at Coleman's Park, they make plenty of appeal.
