Friday's betting preview
The pressure is on Shamrock Rovers going into a sold-out Dublin derby against Bohemians on Friday night.
Defeat would be a third in five games for the champions, who lost only six of 54 matches in the previous two seasons combined.
Rovers look too short but confidence in Bohs is tempered by the suspension of Promise Omochere. Even so, Bohs have scored in all of their games so far, Rovers have conceded in four of their last five and this should be an open encounter. Back both teams to find the net.
Sligo Rovers should get a positive result on their trip to Drogheda, especially as they have been excellent defensively so far. They have faced Derry and St Patrick's on the road, conceding just once, before sharing a goalless draw with Dundalk last weekend.
Wexford were available at 22-1 to beat Waterford earlier in the week and while those fancy prices are long gone, they still appeal on the handicap after winning their last two games.
Galway United are massive value at 4-5 in the draw-no-bet market against a Bray team who are effectively last year's Cabinteely squad plus a handful of others. An excellent recent record at the Carlisle Grounds is also in Galway's favour.
Bray were hammered by Cork in their opener and Cork subsequently lost at home to Galway. The visitors should arguably be a much shorter price.
