Preview

Goals look guaranteed in the TV game on Friday evening as title-chasing Derry City desperately need to beat a Bohemians side looking destined for a mid-table finish.

Since Ruaidhri Higgins became Derry City manager their games against Bohemians have tended to be hugely entertaining, including when they shared six goals in Dalymount last season.

Both teams scored in all seven matches between these sides over that period and Bohs look as if they are getting their confidence back following victory over Shamrock Rovers last week.

Derry, meanwhile, could soon be the form team in the division.

Games involving one team with little or nothing to play for have been rare this term, but Drogheda United look to be playing out their season and if St Patrick's Athletic continue their recent levels of performance they should prevail.

Saints have been on a terrific run. They badly need a win on this occasion in their race for Europe and they should have the artillery to prevail. They won easily at Drogheda earlier in the season.

Cork City are still likely to win the First Division but they look to be in danger of throwing it away and Waterford, given their current form, look good value with the draw no bet.

That would open the door for Galway United, who look way too short away to Cobh Ramblers given that they have won only once in their last six matches.

Cobh have produced some good performances against the better teams under Shane Keegan and shouldn't fear a struggling Galway.
