League of Ireland: free betting preview, tips
Ian Bermingham can strike first for St Patrick's against Cork City
Kick-offs from 7.45pm Friday
The battles for third place and avoiding relegation dominate the narrative in the League of Ireland with Cork facing St Patrick's.
Ian Bermingham played as a winger in Saints' defeat to Dundalk on Saturday and there must be every chance he will play there again at Turner's Cross, which means a quote of 66-1 about him scoring first is worth a small interest.
Bermingham likes to attack and Pat's should be able to get a positive result against a struggling City side.
This is not an especially attractive round of fixtures for betting but backing another player to score first - David Parkhouse for Derry City against UCD - looks appealing.
The striker is in excellent form and has hit nine goals this term, while UCD have the worst defence in the league.
Finn Harps might be a shade big in the draw-no-bet market at home to Bohemians, who have been rather hit-and-miss this season apart from when playing Shamrock Rovers.
Harps have suddenly become hard to beat, especially at home, and should be full of confidence.
Galway United should be doing far better than they are and odds of 4-1 at home to Drogheda with the the draw no bet look big in Division One.
