Tottenham climbed to second in the Premier League and within four points of leaders Liverpool after Heung-Min Son's 83rd-minute strike sealed a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Newcastle at Wembley.

Son's goal, his tenth in his last 12 league appearances, clinched a third successive league win for Spurs and set a new Premier League record of 29 games since their last draw.

Despite edging above City for at least 24 hours, Tottenham are 25-1 shots to win their first league title since 1961.

City are 7-4 to retain their title and Liverpool are 4-7 favourites.

Southampton looked on course for victory after Nathan Redmond's 55th-minute goal but Ashley Barnes's added-time penalty levelled things up and extended Burnley's unbeaten league run to six games.
