Talks of a potential takeover by BC Partners has made for turbulent times off the pitch for Inter but they have been stable on it with wins over Juventus and rivals Milan in the last fortnight.
As well as booking their spot in the Coppa Italia semi-finals, they have forged a serious title challenge in Serie A and a clean sheet in their last home league game against Juve speaks volumes about their defensive resolve.
Last season's runners-up have lost only one of their last 15 assignments across all competitions and look a value bet to see off Benevento in what could be a low-scoring game this weekend.
Visitors Benevento are locked in mid-table obscurity and may be in contention for a European spot if it were not for their tame forward line, who have managed only 23 goals in 19 games.
In France in-form Monaco could be one of the best bets of the weekend away to Nantes.
The principality outfit are unbeaten in their last six games, winning five against Dijon, Lorient, Angers, Montpellier and Marseille and scoring 17 goals in the process.
Wissam Ben Yedder and Kevin Volland have excelled in the final third and the club have a genuine shot at qualifying for the Champions League.
This week's opponents Nantes are unlikely to put up much resistance having failed to win any of their last 12 matches, and a Monaco success at a shade of odds-on could be the way to go.
Christian Streich's Freiburg continue to impress in the Bundesliga with six wins in their last eight matches but there has been a noticeable difference in their results against the lesser light's and against the division's big guns.
They have lost to Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen by an aggregate scoreline of 13-3 this campaign and could struggle away to Wolfsburg.
Wolfsburg are yet to lose at home in the league this season, winning five and drawing three of their eight games, and, fresh from beating Leverkusen, the Lower Saxony side look a a solid selection.
And in Spain relegation-threatened Osasuna are worth opposing against Real Betis.
Andalusians Betis are on a run of six games unbeaten, holding Sevilla and Real Sociedad to stalemates and overcoming Mutilvera, Huesca, Sporting Gijon and Celta Vigo.
Betis also got the better of Osasuna 2-0 when the sides locked horns in December, with the Pamplona side failed to register a shot on target, and they can come out on top once again.
