Kilmarnock should maintain their great start under Clarke
Clyde may capitalise on East Fife injuries in the cup
3pm Saturday
Kilmarnock have been revitalised under new manager Steve Clarke and can add to the pressure on Dundee boss Neil McCann.
Landing experienced former West Brom and Reading boss Clarke appears to be a major coup for Killie and he has led them to draws at Celtic and Rangers and a win at Hearts.
Dundee, on the other hand, are seriously struggling this term. McCann won't call on keeper Scott Bain again after a dressing-room bust-up while they are weak defensively and faltering in front of goal.
Ladbrokes Premiership standings
Killie are full of confidence with players such as Jordan Jones, who made his international bow with Northern Ireland in their World Cup playoff defeat in Switzerland, and their prices for a win for the Ayrshire club looks to be too big.
Take a chance on Clyde to spring a minor William Hill Scottish Cup surprise against East Fife to Broadwood.
The Bully Wee are under new management as former St Mirren and Alloa gaffer Danny Lennon was appointed this week.
Lennon will go into the post full of enthusiasm and will hope to get more out of his players than previous incumbent Jim Chapman did.
It could be just the right time to face the Methil side. They have been struggling with injuries and are particularly weak away from their New Bayview home.
Expert views
They have lost their last four away games, including a poor loss at Ladbrokes League One relegation-haunted Forfar, and Clyde are worth a small interest.
Elsewhere in the cup, Lothian Thistle HV, Banks O'Dee and Glenafton all hope to make a name for themselves and all three are worth looking at in handicap markets.
Peterhead are another team who can perform well at home to Raith.
Rovers were going great guns earlier this season, but the wheels have come off after defeats at Dumbarton in the Challenge Cup and at Ladbrokes League Two title rivals Ayr United in midweek.
It must have rocked Barry Smith and his side and a trip north isn't the ideal cup tie for them.
The Blue Toon are inconsistent but on their day - and with hitman Rory McAllister on form - they can be excellent if their defence can hold firm.
