Best FA Cup bet
Nottingham Forest vs Manchester City
ITV1, 4.30pm Sunday
Nottingham Forest ground out a vital 2-1 Premier League victory at Tottenham on Monday despite having only 30 per cent of possession and four touches inside the Spurs penalty area.
Forest's FA Cup semi-final opponents Manchester City could be set for a frustrating 90 minutes at Wembley and under 2.5 goals is worth a bet.
City needed an injury-time goal to edge past Aston Villa 2-1 at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday and their last four away league matches, including a 0-0 draw at Manchester United and a 1-0 loss at Forest, all had under 2.5 goals.
Best Premier League bet
Newcastle vs Ipswich
3pm Saturday
Newcastle's Champions League charge was halted by last weekend's 4-1 defeat at Aston Villa but the Magpies should be too slick for Ipswich at St James' Park.
The hosts thrashed Manchester United 4-1 and Crystal Palace 5-0 in their last two home games before losing to a vibrant Villa side who had ten shots on target and hit the woodwork three times.
Ipswich's 4-0 home defeat to Arsenal left them 15 points behind 17th-placed West Ham, who also have a goal-difference advantage of 20.
Leif Davis was sent off in the 32nd minute, hampering the Tractor Boys' attacking threat, but both teams had scored in nine of their previous ten games.
Ipswich have lost all nine of their meetings with the top five and six of those reverses – including a 4-0 home defeat to Newcastle in December – featured over 3.5 goals.
Best EFL bet
Preston vs Plymouth
3pm Saturday
Plymouth have scored only nine times in 22 Championship away games this season but in-form forward Ryan Hardie can add to that tally in their final road fixture at Preston.
Hardie is playing a significant role in the bottom club's bold bid for survival, scoring in this month's home wins over playoff hopefuls Sheffield United and Coventry.
His hot streak began with braces against West Brom and Millwall in February and he also struck twice in the 2-1 win over Norwich on April 5.
Plymouth are three points from safety with two games remaining so they cannot sit back at Deepdale and they showed plenty of attacking intent in Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Middlesbrough, where Hardie had seven of their 19 shots.
Best European bet
Nantes vs Toulouse
Ligue 1 Pass, 4.15pm Sunday
Toulouse have lost their last five matches in Ligue 1 but they can stop the rot on Sunday's trip to Nantes.
The hosts drew 1-1 with champions Paris St-Germain last time out, scoring with one of their two shots on target, and they have lost the xG battle in nine of their last ten outings.
Toulouse competed well in narrow defeats to top-four sides Marseille and Lille this month and have won three of their four away games against teams, like Nantes, below them in the table, scoring 11 goals.
