Lincoln's incredible season looks set to have a dream ending and they can move to the brink of returning to the Sky Bet Football League by winning at Gateshead.

The FA Cup quarter-finalists have not let their knockout exploits put them off their main target for the year and their fifth successive win, against Torquay on Saturday, took them five points clear of Tranmere at the top with a game in hand.

Gateshead have been in the playoff hunt for much of the season but their promotion hopes have been virtually extinguished by a shocking run that has seen them take two points from their last five games, losing their last three.

Danny Cowley's Imps can scent the title and should show no mercy, roared on by a large travelling contingent.
