Despite being rooted to the bottom of the Western Conference Houston Dynamo have come on in leaps and bounds in recent weeks and they can extend their winning run to three matches with victory over New York City tonight.

It has been a good September for Wade Barrett’s side with consecutive MLS wins – edging past Real Salt Lake 1-0 and cruising past Portland Timbers 3-1 – and with five games remaining in the regular season, there is a very slight chance they can break into the top six.
