Few teams in the National League promotion race are showing any consistency but second-placed Wrexham have lost just two of their last 18 league games and look equipped to defeat third-placed Macclesfield at Moss Rose.

Wrexham had a shaky spell at the start of the season which featured three defeats in five games including a 1-0 loss at home to the Silkmen.

They responded by tightening up at the back and have become one of the most resilient sides in the division.

The Red Dragons have the best defensive record in the division and pose more of an attacking threat after signing Middlesbrough forward George Miller on a one-month loan. Miller was loaned out to Bury last term and scored seven goals in 28 league games.

He should be even more effective two steps further down the ladder and could make the difference in a tight match.

Recommendation
Wrexham draw no bet
1pt 13-8 general
