Tuesday's Football Bet of the Day

Sweden to win

Sweden vs Poland
World Cup qualifying, 7.45pm

Sweden had a dismal World Cup qualifying campaign but their Nations League efforts enabled them to sneak into the playoffs and they put their poor performances behind them to record a convincing 3-1 win over Ukraine on Thursday.

They look a tempting proposition to back that up in their all-or-nothing clash against Poland, a team that they have an excellent record against.

The hosts have won eight of the last nine meetings between the pair and this match being played in Stockholm could be a big advantage for the Blue and Yellow.

Poland have lost three of their last six away games and they needed two late goals to come from behind to beat Albania last time out.

Sweden possess real quality and are a step up in class for the Eagles, who are expected to come up short.

Odds: 21-20 with Betfair and Paddy Power
