Bruno Lage's side have carried that form into the new season, too, winning five of their opening six matches in all competitions and keeping a clean sheet in all of those fixtures, with that trend set to continue in their second leg against Fenerbahce on Wednesday. 

Despite Florentino's 71st-minute red card, ten-man Benfica showed all of their defensive resilience to hold on for a 0-0 draw in Istanbul last week and they should shut out Jose Mourinho's men to win a third straight home game to nil. 

Fenerbahce amassed just 1.67 expected goals in their 3-1 win over promoted strugglers Kocaelispor on Saturday and are unlikely to become the first side to score against Benfica this term.
