Friday's Football Bet of the Day

Elche or draw double chance

Sevilla vs Elche
La Liga, 8pm Friday

Sevilla finished just one point above the relegation zone in La Liga last season and they have made a patchy start to the new campaign.

They lost their first two games to Athletic Bilbao and Getafe before stopping the rot with a 2-0 victory at Girona just before the international break.

There was an element of good fortune to that win as Girona came out on top in the xG battle and Sevilla look vulnerable favourites against unbeaten Elche on Friday.

The visitors have taken five points from fixtures against Real Betis, Atletico Madrid and Levante and they can add to that tally on their trip to Seville.

Elche's back five have been hard to break down this season and their new-look squad is in good shape whereas Sevilla are missing the injured Joan Jordan and have doubts over Tanguy Nianzou, Akor Adams and Chidera Ejuke.
