Feyenoord to win

Braga vs Feyenoord

Braga thrashed Gibraltar's Lincoln Red Imps 9-1 on aggregate in Europa League qualifying but they have struggled against stronger opposition this season.

The Portuguese side look vulnerable favourites to beat Feyenoord in their opening league-phase fixture as they have failed to win any of their last four Primeira Liga matches.

Braga's most recent home game ended in a 1-0 defeat to Gil Vicente and free-scoring Feyenoord look a tempting bet to take three points on Wednesday.

Robin van Persie's men won their first five Eredivisie games and they were leading at half-time in all five of those victories.

Feyenoord's run ended with Sunday's 3-3 draw at AZ Alkmaar, where the hosts equalised with a 97th-minute penalty, and they can get back to winning ways against Braga.
