Football tipster James Milton has studied Thursday's coupon and his best bet comes from the World Cup playoff semi-final between Turkey and Romania.

Turkey have not qualified for a World Cup since reaching the semi-finals of the 2002 tournament but they look worthy favourites to win Path C of the European playoffs.

A home semi-final against Romania is the first hurdle to clear before the Turks start planning for a playoff final against Slovakia or Kosovo.

Plenty of international teams have struggled to live up to the 'golden generation' tag but the future looks bright for a Turkey side featuring Real Madrid playmaker Arda Guler and Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz.

Inter's Hakan Calhanoglu remains a class act in midfield and the Turks drew 2-2 away to European champions Spain in their last qualifier.

Their Group E results included 3-2 and 4-1 wins over Georgia and a 6-1 rout of Bulgaria so they should be backed to claim a high-scoring victory against Romania.

The visitors lost 2-1 in Austria and 3-1 in Bosnia during qualifying, also drawing 2-2 in Cyprus, and they failed to keep a clean sheet in either of their wins over San Marino.
