Monday's Football Bet of the Day

Germany to win & both teams to score

Germany vs Ghana
International friendly, 7.45pm

Germany and Ghana were both involved in high-scoring friendlies on Friday and another cracking game is expected when they meet in Stuttgart.

Ghana, one of England's World Cup Group L opponents this summer, failed to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations and were hammered 5-1 by Austria in their first fixture of 2026.

Veteran Jordan Ayew scored a late consolation goal in Vienna, where Manchester City's Antoine Semenyo and Leicester's Abdul Fatawu started on the wings for the Black Stars.

Ghana can get among the goals again but may struggle to beat Germany, who won 4-3 away to Switzerland in a frenetic Friday friendly.

Liverpool's Florian Wirtz was outstanding for Die Mannschaft, scoring twice and setting up their other two goals, and the hosts should be too slick for Ghana.

Julian Nagelsmann's Germany won their final five World Cup qualifiers by an aggregate score of 16-1 but there are still doubts over their defence.

They lost 2-0 to Slovakia in their opening qualifying fixture, having conceded eight goals in four Nations League knockout games last year, and a clean sheet may elude them on Monday.

Odds: 13-8 with Coral and Ladbrokes
