RB Leipzig to win

Borussia Monchengladbach vs RB Leipzig

Borussia Monchengladbach have got their act together in the last few weeks by earning victories over St Pauli, Cologne and Heidenheim, but all three dwell in the bottom half of the Bundesliga and a home game against RB Leipzig may prove too hot for them to handle.

The primary concern is that Monchengladbach have failed to score in five of their last seven home league matches, and that makes them vulnerable against a team who have been beaten just twice in the league all season, with one of those losses coming in a 6-0 opening-weekend reverse against champions Bayern Munich.

Three of the other seven goals they have conceded this season came in a 3-1 loss at Hoffenheim, but they recovered from that well with a 2-0 victory over Werder Bremen last week and they are averaging two goals per game in the Bundesliga.

They have won at Mainz, Wolfsburg and Augsburg, where they claimed a 6-0 success, and they can add to their tally in an attempt to keep Bayern in their sights.
