Forest Green to win & over 2.5 goals

The battle for the top seven places in the National League is among the most interesting and intense in English football season after season, and Forest Green should ensure they remain in the thick of it after their home game against Tamworth on Tuesday. 

Robbie Savage's Rovers have been embroiled in some goal-filled clash over the last few weeks – four of their last five have featured at least five – and this looks like being another one as they could potential go second in the table with a big win.

They have scored 14 goals in their last six matches, which included a 4-2 defeat to leaders Carlisle and a stirring FA Cup tie with League One Luton when they lost by the odd goal in seven.

Their only defeats have come against the table-topping Cumbrians and third-placed Rochdale, so that looks like bad news for Tamworth, who have lost their last two league games against Boston and Woking, results that were punctuated by an FA Cup loss to Leyton Orient.

All four of the Lambs' clean sheets this season have come on their own patch, so take Rovers to come out on top of a game that features at least three goals.
