Blackpool v Middlesbrough

Michael Carrick has had an instant impact since being appointed Middlesbrough manager and the Teessiders can pick up their second win under their new boss when they go to Blackpool. The Tangerines have lost two on the spin and are short on numbers, leaving them vulnerable to a Boro side who won 3-1 at Hull in their last away game.

Coventry v Wigan

Back-to-back wins have moved Coventry clear of the relegation zone and they can follow up last Saturday’s impressive victory at Watford by beating struggling Wigan. A six-game winless run, comprised of five defeats and a draw, has seen the Latics slide into the relegation zone and they could be bested once more by a defensively sound Sky Blues side.

Rochdale v Salford

Salford could climb into the playoff places with a win at Spotland, where the home team has won only once all season. Rochdale are hovering just above the relegation zone and the last thing they need is a visit from one of League Two’s premier travelling sides - Salford’s away record is second only to that of league leaders Leyton Orient.

Cremonese v Milan

Milan's 17-match unbeaten away run in Serie A was ended by Torino the last time they hit the road but they can start a kickstart a new run when they visit winless Cremonese. The hosts have taken just two points at home all season and Italy’s top flight is proving a tough experience. Milan should ease to a sixth win in their last seven domestic matches.
