Football accumulator tips for Saturday August 27: Count on Lions for 6-1 acca

League One and Two leaders can continue to set a fast pace

There is plenty of quality on show in the Premier League on Saturday and there is the rarity of having Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City all in action at 3pm.

However, there are also 11 games taking place in the Championship and full schedules from League One and Two, so there is plenty for punters to sink their teeth into.

All bets must be placed by 3pm on Saturday.

Racing Post football expert Aaron Ashley has picked:

Millwall to beat Reading

Ipswich to beat Barnsley

Sheffield Wednesday to beat Forest Green

Leyton Orient to beat Hartlepool

Millwall v Reading

Millwall won nine of their final 13 Championship home games last term and have picked up where they left off by winning their first two fixtures at The New Den. Having overcome Stoke and Coventry, the Lions can take care of a Reading side who have lost 1-0 at Blackpool and 4-0 at Rotherham in their two away games this season.

Ipswich v Barnsley

Ipswich remain unbeaten after five games in League One and, having won four on the spin, should be confident of their chances at home to Barnsley. The Tykes, who were relegated from the Championship last term, were brushed aside 3-0 at home to Wycombe last weekend and and have lost their first two away trips at Plymouth and Derby.

Sheffield Wednesday v Forest Green

Promoted Forest Green must be fearing the worst for this trip to Hillsborough after their 3-0 defeat at home to Plymouth last week, and rightly so. Sheffield Wednesday have won three of their last four League One matches to nil and are notoriously strong on their own patch.

Leyton Orient v Hartlepool

Leyton Orient are setting the early pace in League Two having taken 13 points from their first five games, and they ought to have the measure of struggling Hartlepool. In stark contrast, Pools have taken just two points from five games and have conceded nine goals.
