Football accumulator tips for Monday October 10: Goals likely at the City Ground

Mallorca and Sochaux can start the week with a win

Nottingham Forest will be hoping for a much better Monday than last week as they look to bounce back from a 4-0 drubbing at Leicester at home to Aston Villa in the main event of the night.

There is also action in France, Spain, Portugal and Italy for punters to get stuck into and we have come up with a four-match accumulator to hopefully get the week off to a winning start.

All bets must be placed by 7.45pm on Monday.

Racing Post football expert Ian Wilkerson has picked:

Both teams to score in Nottingham Forest v Aston Villa

Real Mallorca to beat Elche

Sochaux to beat St Etienne

Eibar to beat Mirandes

Nottingham Forest v Aston Villa

Forest have lost their last five games but have taken the lead in recent home defeats to Bournemouth and Fulham, while Villa, who are struggling for goals, should cut loose against the Premier League strugglers.

Elche v Real Mallorca

Elche have collected just one point in La Liga this season and opponents Real Mallorca should be encouraged after being beaten by a single goal against Barcelona, so the visitors may have the edge here.

Sochaux v St-Etienne

Sochaux won six straight Ligue 2 games before their defeat against Valenciennes, but they should get back to winning ways against struggling Saint-Etienne, who have claimed just two victories this season

Eibar v Mirandes

Eibar have won all four of their Segunda home games this season and they can get the better of Mirandes, who have conceded a league-high 14 goals this term.
