Verona v Napoli

Napoli were outstanding away from home in Serie A last season, winning 13 of their 19 road fixtures on their way to a commendable third-place finish.

One of those wins was March's 2-1 success at Verona, who ended that game with nine men, and the hosts started this season with another red card in a 4-1 home defeat to second-tier Bari in the Coppa Italia.

Getafe v Atletico Madrid

Atletico Madrid finished last season strongly, winning five of their last seven away matches in La Liga to surge into the top three, and they can see off Getafe in their opening assignment of the new campaign.

Atletico did the double over Getafe last term, winning 4-3 at home and 2-1 away, and the hosts scored just 33 goals in 38 league matches.

Liverpool v Crystal Palace

Liverpool have won their last ten Premier League games against Crystal Palace and they will have been stung by a 2-2 draw at promoted Fulham on the opening weekend.

Palace, who won just four times on the road last season, have failed to score on four of their last five visits to Anfield and their defence could be exposed by Liverpool stars Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez.

Real Betis v Elche

Real Betis finished fifth in La Liga last season, winning ten of their 15 home games against teams below them in the table, so they look a solid bet against Elche on Monday.

The visitors ended up in 13th place but were only four points above the relegation zone and, having averaged just 0.84 goals per game on the road last term, they are unlikely to upset Betis.
