Accumulator tips and predictions for Monday

Racing Post football expert Jamie Griffith has picked:

Leeds to beat Stoke @1-4 with Ladbrokes

Coventry to beat Plymouth @7-10 with Ladbrokes

Burnley to beat Sheffield United @19-20 with Ladbrokes

Nottingham Forest to beat Tottenham @17-10 with Ladbrokes

Total odds: @10-1 with Ladbrokes

Odds correct at time of publication

Leeds vs Stoke

Daniel Farke will be delighted with the professional performance Leeds gave in their 1-0 win over Oxford on Good Friday. It was the exact kind of showing they lacked in the run-in last season and they can follow up against Stoke, who, despite recent improvement, have lost four of their last six away games.

Plymouth vs Coventry

While Plymouth are just three points off safety, their dreadful -39 goal difference tells the story of their season and a return to League One is looking increasingly likely. Things are unlikely to get any better against Coventry, who have won nine of their last 12 games and are on track to reach the playoffs.

Burnley vs Sheffield United

A win for Burnley would secure an immediate return to the Premier League and the Clarets can rise to the occasion. Sheffield United have taken just one point from their five last matches against fellow top-four sides and are unlikely to bring an end to Burnley's 30-game unbeaten run in the Championship.

Tottenham vs Nottingham Forest

The chasing pack have narrowed the gap on Nottingham Forest but the Tricky Trees can respond by beating a Spurs side whose focus will now be solely on the Europa League. Tottenham have lost six and won just three of their matches after a European outing and may struggle against the top-four chasing Reds.

Football acca FAQs

What is a football accumulator (acca)?
A football accumulator, commonly referred to as an 'acca', is a single bet that combines multiple individual bets into one. Each selection within the accumulator must win for the bet to pay out, offering higher potential returns but at increased risk compared to single bets.

Can I place an acca on different markets?
Yes, you can combine various markets in an acca, including match winners, total goals, both teams to score, and more. However, most betting platforms require that selections within an accumulator are not related to ensure the bet is valid.

What is the advantage of placing an accumulator bet?
The main advantage of an accumulator bet is the potential for higher returns from a smaller stake since the odds of each selection are multiplied together. It adds excitement to watching multiple matches, as each leg of your acca needs to be successful for a return.
