Hull vs Sheffield United

Sheffield United, last season's beaten Championship playoff finalists, have lost seven of their opening eight games this term, but there have been signs of improvement since Chris Wilder's return to Bramall Lane. Hull has been the place to go for goals this term, with both teams scoring in seven of the Tigers' last eight fixtures, and the high-scoring trend may continue this weekend.

Sheffield Wednesday vs Coventry

Coventry built on an impressive 3-0 win at home to Birmingham with an easy 4-0 success at Millwall in midweek and they should have too much quality for second-bottom Sheffield Wednesday, who have a small squad and may struggle with the quick turnaround. The Owls have won only one of their last six and Coventry are the Championship's form side.

Doncaster vs Burton

Burton caused a real stir with their 1-0 victory away at Cardiff in midweek but they may struggle to build on that at Doncaster, who have had a free week and should be the fresher side. Rovers have lost their last four but they have won three of their five home matches in League One and will be eager to bounce back.

Newport vs Swindon

Swindon have made great progress this season and the Robins, who are second in League Two, can overcome struggling Newport at Rodney Parade. The trip to south Wales is unlikely to worry Ian Holloway's side, who are targeting an eighth league win of the campaign. The Exiles, in stark contrast, have lost seven of their ten league fixtures.

Football acca FAQs

What is a football accumulator (acca)?
A football accumulator, commonly referred to as an 'acca', is a single bet that combines multiple individual bets into one. Each selection within the accumulator must win for the bet to pay out, offering higher potential returns but at increased risk compared to single bets.

Can I place an acca on different markets?
Yes, you can combine various markets in an acca, including match winners, total goals, both teams to score, and more. However, most betting platforms require that selections within an accumulator are not related to ensure the bet is valid.

What is the advantage of placing an accumulator bet?
The main advantage of an accumulator bet is the potential for higher returns from a smaller stake since the odds of each selection are multiplied together. It adds excitement to watching multiple matches, as each leg of your acca needs to be successful for a return.
