Brighton vs West Ham

Goals could be the way to go in Sunday's first Premier League fixture as an improving West Ham side travel to Brighton. Albion are yet to draw a blank at home this season but they’ve managed only one clean sheet, while the Hammers have scored in six of their last seven away games – only failing to score in defeat at Arsenal during that run.

Auxerre vs Metz

The bottom two in Ligue 1 meet on Sunday and outsiders Metz look worth chancing at a decent price. The visitors have won three of their last five games and were competitive in defeats to top-half pair Brest and Rennes in their last two fixtures. Auxerre, meanwhile, are without a win in nine and have scored just one goal in their last six games.

Cagliari vs Roma

Scudetto hopefuls Roma were beaten 1-0 at home by Napoli last time out but they should be able to respond by seeing off a Cagliari side in freefall. The hosts have not won in nine games in Serie A and in their last ten in all competitions, while Roma have the best away record in the Italian top flight with 15 points accrued from six games.

Gateshead vs Walsall

Non-league Gateshead stunned League One Wimbledon in the first round of the FA Cup but they may not repeat the feat against League Two highflyers Walsall. Gateshead have lost their six games since their first-round success, with all of their defeats in that time by two or more goals. Walsall made light work of Gateshead’s National league rivals Eastleigh in the previous round and are in fine form, having won five of their last six games.

Football acca FAQs

What is a football accumulator (acca)?
A football accumulator, commonly referred to as an 'acca', is a single bet that combines multiple individual bets into one. Each selection within the accumulator must win for the bet to pay out, offering higher potential returns but at increased risk compared to single bets.

Can I place an acca on different markets?
Yes, you can combine various markets in an acca, including match winners, total goals, both teams to score, and more. However, most betting platforms require that selections within an accumulator are not related to ensure the bet is valid.

What is the advantage of placing an accumulator bet?
The main advantage of an accumulator bet is the potential for higher returns from a smaller stake since the odds of each selection are multiplied together. It adds excitement to watching multiple matches, as each leg of your acca needs to be successful for a return.
