Norwich City vs Millwall

Only Leeds scored more goals at home last season than Norwich in the Championship and Liam Manning's team should once again play an exciting brand of football. The Canaries have managed to return the services of striker Josh Sargent for now, while Millwall have also bolstered their options in the final third.

The Lions signed Josh Coburn on a permanent basis from Middlesbrough, while Alfie Doughty's arrival should add some quality to their set-pieces. Both teams netted in both meetings last season and another exciting match should be on the cards at Carrow Road.

Sheffield United vs Bristol City

Sheffield United will hope to right last season's wrongs and earn promotion, but they may not be as resilient at the back as they were under Chris Wilder. Ruben Selles has lost Vini Souza and Anel Ahmedhodzic this summer and their absence should leave them vulnerable through the middle of the park. The Blades still have a squad capable of challenging for promotion and they beat Bristol City 3-0 in both of their playoff semi-final meetings last season.

City won only four times on the road last season, but under new boss Gerhard Struber, they have looked sharp in the final third in pre-season. The Robins hammered Real Vallodolid 4-0 in their final friendly before the new campaign and they will expect to find the net against the weaker Blades.

Leyton Orient vs Wigan

Leyton Orient fell to a 3-0 defeat to Huddersfield last weekend, but the O's were away from home and the Terriers are considered promotion candidates.

While the scoreline suggests they were well beaten, Orient registered 14 shots against Huddersfield and will feel that they should have scored. They should have learned their lessons for this clash against Wigan, but the Latics beat Northampton 3-1 and they are now unbeaten in nine matches as they try to earn promotion this season. There should be goals at both ends in this one.

Swindon vs Cambridge United

Ian Holloway's Swindon Town lost 2-1 to promotion-chasing Walsall last weekend, but they dominated proceedings and should have got something out of the game. Swindon enjoyed 74 per cent of the possession and had 16 shots, 11 more than the clinical Saddlers.

Cambridge have scored in five consecutive games in League Two and Neil Harris's team should be able to find the back of the net against a Robins team that conceded 33 goals at home last season.

Football acca FAQs

What is a football accumulator (acca)?
A football accumulator, commonly referred to as an 'acca', is a single bet that combines multiple individual bets into one. Each selection within the accumulator must win for the bet to pay out, offering higher potential returns but at increased risk compared to single bets.

Can I place an acca on different markets?
Yes, you can combine various markets in an acca, including match winners, total goals, both teams to score, and more. However, most betting platforms require that selections within an accumulator are not related to ensure the bet is valid.

What is the advantage of placing an accumulator bet?
The main advantage of an accumulator bet is the potential for higher returns from a smaller stake since the odds of each selection are multiplied together. It adds excitement to watching multiple matches, as each leg of your acca needs to be successful for a return.
